I am from the mountains of northern California. I am married to my high school sweetheart, have 3 children and 5 dogs. I went back to school for another BS but in Evironmental Science so I could better understand my photographic subjects. My journey started in medicine and the military. For over 21 years, I listened to the most human forms of vulnerability. Now, I listen to the wild, with a camera, with stillness, and with purpose.

I am the Ecological Sustainability Program Manager for Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. I track GHG for 13 large homes and buildings in 5 different countries which includes Scopes 1-3. I provide environmental education to the Sisters and those that work for them. I provided community outreach to the city of Bardstown and the local schools. I am currently preparing for a wetland and stream restoration in the early summer in hopes to stop erosion and bring more natives plants and wildlife to that area of the campus.

I volunteer with Hardin County Conservation District and the the Elizabethtown Garden Club. I provide outreach and partnership with the local farmers and urban gardeners to strengthen native plants and pollinators in the area and to provide guidance for erosion and crop cover on the farms among other things.

I am an emerging conservation photographer. I aim to inspire action, not just admiration. I see photography as a bridge between knowing and feeling. My photographs are invitations, echoes, questions. They are meant to connect.
