Hi my name is Isa or (Isabella) Medrano and I am currently a Junior in college at the University of Stevens Point WI. My current major is Environmental Education and Interpretation with a minor in Wildlife. I am truly looking forward to learning the skills I will need to be the best interpreter or educator to get people and communities excited about learning new things and engaged with the environments around them.

This past summer I worked at a reserve in Milwaukee called Hawthorn Glen, I was a naturalist who got to teach a variety of different topics to many diverse groups from summer school field trips to Milwaukee community centers, the YMCA and so much more. I have also worked as a building recreation leader in Milwaukee; through this job, I was able to interact with a variety of age groups from playing volleyball with 75-year-olds to tails for tots activities with 2 to 5-year-olds.
