Born in Dayton, Oh, raised in San Antonio, Tx, and now based in Austin, Tx I began my career in early childhood education working at an overnight summer camp, an experience that sparked my passion for working with children. I enjoy traveling and have explored 26 states and plan to visit many more. Outside of work, I am an avid football fan and proudly support the Dallas Cowboys (also Go Spurs Go!)

I am a Texas Rising Star (TRS) mentor with five years of experience supporting quality improvement across early childhood programs in Travis County. I have built a strong professional foundation in early childhood education, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Development from Texas State University and my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Woman’s University. In my role as a TRS mentor, I guide and support early childhood providers in enhancing program quality, implementing evidence-based best practices, and meeting state standards.
