In 1948, my grandfather, Lee and his best friend Herb, bough property in Western Maine with plans to build a community built on kindness and friendship. Today, my siblings, parents and I direct Camp Skylemar together. Each summer, we welcome 270 children and 125 staff for 6 weeks of summertime fun. 

Camp Skylemar offers a sports-centered program on a site built for environmental education. 1/2 of a campers day is spent playing sports and the other 1/2 is a wide variety of activities on our 220 acre property. We are a community enriched by campers/staff from 15+ countries and 32 states. 

Skylemar is well-known for hiring the greatest staff. Our leadership team is composed of educators and cabin staff are mostly collegiate athletes from across the country. Each staff member works at Skylemar because they believe in being a positive example for children to follow. We hope you will consider joining our misssion to make a positive difference in the world.
