Education for ecosystem restoration raises awareness about the importance of healthy ecosystems and teaches effective restoration practices. By equipping people with information and skills, education helps drive collective efforts to repair and conserve ecosystems, ensuring more successful and sustainable outcomes.

These challenges aim to build local capacity for ecosystem restoration and rewilding, with the ultimate goal of addressing the pressing issues of climate change and biodiversity loss.

Through its high-impact publications, learning course, Standards tools, world conferences, webinars, and various other resources, the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) seeks to facilitate and expand knowledge sharing within the global restoration community.
