Place Space Central
Place Space Central is an online community hub hosted by the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative (GLSI), designed to support educators, community partners, and organizations engaged in place-based education. It offers a collaborative space for sharing resources, discussing best practices, and networking with peers across the Great Lakes region and beyond. Through forums, event announcements, and resource libraries, members can access professional development opportunities and connect with a broader community dedicated to environmental stewardship and experiential learning.
I would recommend becoming a (free) member of the Place Space because it keeps educators informed about what is going on in the world of place-based education. It provides free training for teachers and allows you to become a member of a community where you can feel free to ask any questions or for help.
