Our master’s students are prepared to serve as instructional leaders in elementary and secondary schools. The field of supervision and curriculum development is concerned with the professional preparation of individuals who will play leadership roles in developing and implementing the instructional programs of educational institutions at all levels. The term educational institution is here broadly defined to include not only K-12 public schools, colleges, and universities, but also educational agencies which may exist in fields such as allied health, nursing, business and industry, and government agencies at the local, state, and national levels.
