Successful projects translate data into action, applying GFW to overcome challenges in protecting the world’s forests.

iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE

The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE supports projects that contribute to improving our society. If you work towards achieving one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, your project is eligible. Applying is free of charge. Every year iF Design donates EUR 100,000 to support the best projects submitted to the iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE. Your project should already be established and you can apply with the same project a maximum of two times. Student concepts will not be accepted.

ProBleu Funding Calls (Blue School Project) for EU-27 Member States (Apply by May 23)

The ProBleu funding initiative supports primary and secondary schools as essential champions in educating children and youth about blue sustainability and safeguarding marine and freshwater ecosystems. Educational institutions are invited to seek grants of up to 7,500 euros to support water literacy and citizen science projects that can extend for up to 7 months.

2025 Forests of NH Teacher Tour

This three-day professional development opportunity runs July 22–25 and begins with a half-day Project Learning Tree (PLT) workshop. PLT curriculum is also incorporated on tours which will focus on long-term sustainable management of New Hampshire forests. Participants will visit nearby forest management areas, logging operations, and sawmills, and will have opportunities to discuss field operations and multiple use management considerations with foresters, wildlife biologists, and other natural resource professionals.
