Virtual Conference for Garden Educators, July 7-9
The 29th annual professional development conference will again take place as a virtual event instead of an in-person convening. The professional development content will be offered as a collection of live and pre-recorded webinars with nearly forty peer-led lectures and workshops viewable on demand.
Young people today are more connected and aware than ever before and many have a sincere desire to combat social and environmental issues. Furthermore, they have ideas about solving these problems, but are rarely asked for their input. The theme of the 2021 NCYGS is youth empowerment and, through an exciting lineup, July 7-9, speakers will give educators both the inspiration and the tools they need to discover and nurture the passion within a child and create the space and support for a child to pursue that passion.
Registration ($60 for members of the American Horticultural Society and $80 for non-members) includes access to all live and pre-recorded session content which will be available until June 30, 2022.
