Elementary, middle, and high school educators and administrators of any discipline are eligible to apply. Earthwatch is looking for teachers who are passionate about teaching, excited about making a difference with their time and talents, and interested in conservation, environmental sustainability, and lifelong learning. By engaging teachers, Earthwatch strives to inspire and build a future generation of leaders who value the environment and prioritize it in their everyday choices.

Fellowships are also available to students. Every year, generous foundations, corporations, and individuals concerned about our future leaders provide funding for Earthwatch fellowships for students. Fellowship funding is critical to make it possible for young people to participate in an expedition who would otherwise be unable to go. Students who participate often aspire to be the leaders of their generation, engaging in both individual and collective action for the environment.
