Workshop Series! Making Teacher PD More Effective: Energize Your Practices

The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and the Museum Institute for Teaching Science (MITS), in partnership with BP America, have launched a new project designed to strengthen informal science educator training and teacher professional development in energy literacy. As part of this initiative, ASTC has worked with its members to capture effective practices for presenting teacher professional development. These practices will be shared during a series of five two-day workshops.

These sessions on effective teacher professional development will include free resources, hands-on activities on energy, professional networking, and an optional travel stipend for ISE's (up to $100).

Workshops will be held in science centers across the United States. Register now for a workshop near you!
