Smart and Sustainable Campuses Conference

Join colleagues and take an in-depth approach toward defining, understanding, and creating solutions to sustainabilty issues facing our campuses.  Unlike other conferences, SSCC sets itself apart by creating a program that features in-depth discussions, dialogues, and workshops. Besides traditional 40-minute presentations, there is significant time in the schedule for 80-minute hands-on workshops. These 80-minute sessions will allow leaders and attendees to dig deeper into a particular topic area using active and participatory learning strategies. Conference tracks: 1. Life Cycle of the Built Environment 2. Community Connections 3. The Campus as a Learning Laboratory 4. Fostering Behavior Change 5. Strategic Implementation Our early bird prices have been reduced from last year, making this conference more affordable than ever.  Enhance and extend your learning by participating in one or more of our pre or post-conference workshop.  Can’t attend the conference?  You are still welcome to come for a workshop: Professional Development for Campus Sustainability Practitioners, with Leith Sharp and Aurora Winslade Fostering Sustainable Behavior, with Doug McKenzie-Mohr From Field to Fork, with Tim Galarneau We are now accepting applications from currently enrolled college students interested in receiving a limited number of complimentary registrations to attend the conference.  Visit the Student Scholarships page to find out more.
