The course “Podcasting for Environmental Communications” provides environmental professionals with an in-depth focus on podcasting as a communications medium. Students will focus in detail on how to plan and implement a podcast on a subject of choice. You will create a podcast with a plan for recording, publishing and sharing/marketing. You will also learn how to create and find content, technical tips, and how to build an audience.

The course is six weeks in length and is taught in an entirely online, distance learning format, with both asynchronous and synchronous portions. No campus visits are required.  Depending upon enrollment, we anticipate offering 1 time each week that you can interact with instructors and classmates via WebEx.

This course forms part of the Duke Certificate in Environmental Communications program.
