Master of EE Program at UMD Accepting Applications for Fall 2026 Admission with Potential GTA Funding
The Master of EE Program at the University of MN is accepting applications for Fall 2026 admission. Applications are due February 1, 2026 for consideration for potential assistantships. Applications will continue to be accepted beyond February 1 for admission on a rolling basis.
The program has two subplans (Plan B and Plan C). Students in both plans take coursework in core foundations (place-based education, Indigenous Peoples and the environment, theoretical foundations, research methods, and coursework on applications and/or teaching strategies).
Plan B students take additional research coursework and complete a research project.
Plan C entails only coursework (no research project). Either plan can be completed in two years.
The MEEd program has been accredited by the North American Association for Environmental Education.
