Please join the National Wildlife Federation's Resilient Schools Consortium (RiSC) program's virtual classroom with American Littoral Society educators Don Riepe, Alexandra Kanonik and Nicole Haines - Tuesday, April 28th, 3:30pm to 4:30pm - to learn how dunes, intact wetlands, and other forms of nature-based infrastructure, can protect cities from coastal storms. Students will learn about the natural and artificial approaches that people living around Jamaica Bay are implementing to create coastal buffers, protect peoples' lives and homes, and increase coastal resilience.
