My name is Wendy Huerbin and I have been teaching for 26 years. I have taught is Pittsbirgh, Pa, Flagstaff, AZ and I currently teach in Chesterfield, Va. I started teaching English language arts in middle school while in Pittsburgh. In Flagstaff I taught Spanish and I ran the yearbook class with a photography teacher. In Virginia I recieved my Masters's Degree and started teaching ELL classes where I was teaching reading in the content areas science exploratory and biology.

During my 26 of teaching I had the opportunity to teach many different students from all types of backgrounds and many different subjects. Through my ELL reading in science courses, I discovered that I loved science. I started college as a bio major with the intentions of becoming a veteriarian but life had other plans for me. Well, I'm back and in love with the science of life and all nature has to offer. I received my biology teaching endorsement and now I teach ELL ecology and biology. I am excited to learn which I believe helps me to be a better teacher.
