I am a marine biologist who has found a career in education. I graduated with my undergrad from Texas A&M College Station in Parks and Conservation and my master degree in Ocean, Coastal, and Marine Science. My thesis focused on the growth and reproduction of black corals in the Gulf of Mexico. After finishing my masters I began working at UTRGV coastal studies lab as a research associate and then moved up to becoming the program manager. Recently I accepted a position at Sea Turtle Inc as the Director of Education where we focus on the education, conservation, and medical care of sea turtles found in the Gulf of Mexico.
