Nina grew up on the island of Martha's Vineyard and spent her twenties travelling the world, while living in the South Pacific. After teaching middle and high school, both at home and abroad for a decade, Nina settled on Martha's Vineyard with a Masters in Library and Information Science. While raising two young boys with her husband, Nina joined the Martha's Vineyard Shellfish Group as an Educator in 2022 following a six-year tenure in public libraries. Passionate about the environment, the ocean, and broad access to resources and education, Nina brings the people to the ponds and the ponds to the people.
