I was a H.S. Science teacher in Detroit in 1970 - we formed an environment club a took the kids to the first Earth Day. I ended up getting a degree in air pollution and worked for EPA for 33 years. In the last several I've been leading a "teach-in" program to bring EPA Alumni into classrooms.
