With over 20 years of experience as an outdoor educator and a background in Environmental Education and Conservation Biology, I’ve taught in diverse settings—from U.S. nature programs to cheetah conservation work in Kenya. In 2019, I founded the National Outdoor Learning Alliance (NOLA) in Boise, Idaho, where I serve as executive director. Through programs like EverWild Forest School, NOLA empowers children to thrive through place-based outdoor education. I'm also a speaker, business coach, and passionate advocate for equitable access to nature.

I was born in Washington and have been drawn to the outdoors for as long as I can remember—wandering forests, chasing curiosity, and discovering the magic of the natural world. That early love for nature only deepened over time, eventually shaping my purpose: to help others—especially children—reconnect with the earth and themselves through meaningful outdoor experiences.
With over 20 years of experience as an outdoor educator, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a wide variety of settings—from local nature centers and wilderness programs to international conservation work. After earning my B.A. in Environmental Education and M.S. in Conservation Biology, I spent time in Kenya supporting cheetah conservation efforts with a nonprofit organization, an experience that broadened my understanding of both wildlife ecology and community-based education.
In 2019, I founded the National Outdoor Learning Alliance (NOLA) in Boise, Idaho, where I continue to serve as executive director. NOLA empowers children through place-based education programs designed to support academic success, personal growth, and wellbeing. One of our flagship initiatives, EverWild Forest School, serves children ages 0–14 with immersive outdoor learning opportunities throughout the Treasure Valley.
Since founding NOLA, I’ve had the privilege of becoming a sought-after presenter, guest speaker, business coach, and advocate for outdoor education and equity in access to nature.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outside with my husband and our two young daughters—hiking, riding horses, painting, dancing, or singing—still following the same spirit of wonder that first led me into the woods.
