Motivated to finish a film project started by her late father, she co-produced Captain Scott B and the Great Adventure with filmmaker Matthew Chenet. Her writing and narration are the foundation of the film and woven throughout. The film focuses on the power of nature in times of great loss and its incredible ability to re-regulate us. The arc of the story follows Betsy’s physical and spiritual journey as she transforms her grief into art. She vulnerably shares her experience in hopes of helping others face loss and live meaningful lives connected to the natural world.
