Interests
I’m a high school student in North Carolina who is interested in science, health, and the environment. I enjoy learning about how the human body works as well as how natural systems are connected and affect our daily lives. I’m currently working toward my Environmental Education Certification to better understand how to teach others about environmental responsibility and sustainability. In the future, I hope to use this knowledge to help my community make more informed and eco-friendly choices.

I am a high school student in North Carolina with a strong interest in science, health, and environmental sustainability. Through my coursework, I have studied topics such as human biology, ecosystems, and climate change, which have helped me understand how closely human health and the environment are connected. I have completed projects related to environmental observation, including tracking seasonal changes in plant life and analyzing how climate patterns affect local species.
In addition to academics, I participate in school and community activities that promote awareness and responsibility. For example, I have helped with school-based initiatives such as beautification and an outdoor lunch area for students. I am also developing skills in communication and education by creating informational materials, such as presentations and infographics, to teach others about topics like CPR and environmental stewardship.
I am currently working toward the North Carolina Environmental Education Certification to expand my knowledge and gain the skills needed to educate others. My goal is to use what I learn to make a positive impact in my community by encouraging sustainable habits and environmental responsibility.
