My name is Christy and I live in Marquette Michigan with my husband and my dog. I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, exploring, camping, paddling and trail running. I also enjoy working in my yard to create native habitiat with native wlldflowers and grassses. I also love to travel and go to live music events. I love to read and collect books. I work in conservation. I have been in the non-profit and federal and local government sectors for about 15 years now. I have a BS in Biology with a concentration in Ecology. I love working in natural resources and getting my hands dirty. I consider myself a land steward and am happiest when I am doing work that benefits ecosytems and the creatures that live in them. I truly love teaching kids about conservation and stewardship. Seeing them get excited about the natural world while learning about what's around them and what they can do to take care of our natural resources is what I love most about my job.
