EcoCareers Conference 2020: Preparing for Employment in a Sustainable World

The National Collaborative for Food, Energy, and Water Education (NC-FEW) is an emergent, transdisciplinary community of educators and education researchers from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and food, agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences (FANH) fields. Become an NC-FEW Affiliate to participate in this new, interdisciplinary community.

California State Parks is currently accepting applications for the civil service exam for their Interpreter II classifications. Passing this exam is requisite for applying for any California State Parks Interpreter II positions. The application window is short, closing on June 4th.

ELP Fellowships offer intensive leadership and skills training, time for personal and professional reflection, and the opportunity to learn and collaborate with regional and national networks. Through immersive retreats, emerging leaders hone their leadership styles, improve their strategy and organizational development skills, and strengthen their capacity to work with diverse constituencies. With the assistance of professional coaching and peer learning, each Fellow develops a Personal and Professional Leadership Plan and structures to support that plan.

Eligible RAY Fellow applicants will:
-- Come from a racial / ethnic background underrepresented in conservation and demonstrate a commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
-- Be less than 2 years out of college and have a Bachelor's Degree by July 2019 (we are not considering individuals with graduate degrees at this time)
-- Have not had a full-time job in conservation
-- Have the ability to work in the United States and commit to the entire fellowship
