Mini data jam

A data jam is a multidisciplinary project that engages students in making sense of real-world scientific data and presenting data trends creatively in songs, poems, models, and more. Created by the Asombro Institute for Science Education in Las Cruces, New Mexico as a tool to increase students’ data literacy, science literacy, and science communication skills, data jams have shown students of all ages the importance of creativity in STEM fields. This 10-minute video will walk students through how to analyze, interpret and communicate data.
