A holistic four-month marine science internship program with a non-profit organization based in the Florida Keys. You can expect to dive with and care for endangered corals, teach and present about coral reefs, and get a thorough look at how a non-profit organization in the marine conservation field operates.
Are you a SCUBA diver who wants to conserve and restore Florida's coral reefs? Do you want to get a leg-up in your marine science career? With the Coral Conservation and Reef Restoration internship with Coral Restoration Foundation(tm), you will dive in gorgeous waters, grow and sustain endangered corals, educate the public on environmental issues, and restore a vital habitat with a group of like-minded environmentalists.
The Education Associate is responsible for the facilitation and promotion of our “Edutainment” curriculum, including but not limited to a) in-classwork workshops; b) after school clubs; c) summer camps, d) online academy; and e) Girl Scout of Tropical Florida badge progression. The Education Associate is also responsible for working collaboratively with all staff to facilitate the success of the Education Department programs.
The Dive Training Associate position is for the purpose of growing, maintaining, and training of volunteers and interns on land and in-water skills, as well as supporting the recreational dive programs within the Education Department.
