Larimer County Conservation Corps is hiring: Forestry - Corpsmemebers, Assistant Crew Leaders and Crew Leaders Throughout the season corpsmembers: - Become S-212 certified for safe and effective chainsaw use. - Complete fire mitigation, restoration, tree planting and trail maintenance projects on public lands throughout Larimer County. - Participate in activities promoting personal and professional development, environmental awareness and community engagement.

The Assistant Forestry Crew Leader is a seasonal position mentoring a crew of six young adults who perform various conservation projects. Projects focus on hazardous tree removal, fire mitigation, and invasive species removal using chainsaws on public and private lands. Assistant crew leaders serve alongside the corpsmembers and to complete service projects in a variety of weather conditions and terrain. Assistant crew leaders are not responsible for directly supervising corpsmembers.
