The Community Programs Manager is responsible for strategic management of programs, projects, and partnerships that increase watershed literacy within the District’s service area. This is a perfect position for someone who is interested in managing programs and partnerships related to conservation, community engagement, and environmental education in urban watersheds.
The Operation Smart Water Research Coordinator will work with local partners to coordinate and deliver the Operation Smart Water (OSW) field research program. The OSW program includes recruiting, preparing, and leading members of the public (e.g. youth, community members) in field research (i.e. community science) and events.
We are seeking an energetic and passionate education professional with knowledge of inquiry-based teaching pedagogies, environmental education best practices, and Next Generation Science Standards. The Program Specialist will design and implement watershed and environmental education professional training programs for pre-service teachers, interns, and volunteers, and develop and evaluate community programs that increase watershed literacy and stewardship within the Inland Valley.
