The Education Coordinator will support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of school-year programming for 4th-8th grade students and paid internships for teens. Some specific responsibilities include registering teachers for school-year programs, communicating with staff from partner agencies and organizations, and processing student evaluations.

Educators are a vital part of the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust’s education team, co-leading a high school internship in the summer and teaching 4th-12th grade students in the school year. This is a seasonal, full-time position for a 6 month term.
The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust will sponsor four Restoration Associate positions through AmeriCorps. As an integral of our Stewardship Team, the Restoration Associates will gain natural resources management experience in a blend of forest and aquatic ecosystems from Seattle to Central Washington. They will serve closely with our partners and volunteers to combat invasive weeds and install native plants throughout the Greenway.
The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust will sponsor two Education Associates through AmeriCorps. Serving with the Greenway Trust offers an opportunity to help youth make personal, positive connections with the natural world, gain teaching experience in the classroom and in the field, and gain natural resource management experience in a blend of forest and riparian ecosystems. Education Associates will help empower youth with knowledge and skills they need to become conservation leaders.
