The Walden Woods Project (WWP) seeks a full-time Education Programs Assistant/Communications Coordinator. The WWP preserves the land, literature and legacy of Henry David Thoreau to foster an ethic of environmental stewardship and social responsibility. We achieve this mission through the integration of conservation, education, research and advocacy. This position assists with the delivery of education programs to a global audience of all ages and shares word of our work with the world.

The Walden Woods Project (www.walden.org) is very excited to host a half-term TerraCorps (a program of AmeriCorps) Service Member from February 12-July 27, 2018. The TerraCorps Youth Education Coordinator will help us to build capacity in our youth-serving programs by creating new curriculum, reaching out to new audiences and expanding programs into our non-peak seasons.
