Job

The Community Engagement Specialist position will support MCBP’s education and outreach by raising public awareness of the program’s work and mission through the facilitation of environmental education and interpretive programs, digital communications, and community engagement projects. MCBP is seeking a confident, enthusiastic person with direct experience in public speaking, social media, and working with different demographics in the community. This is a seasonal position at a rate of $19/hr.

The Maryland Coastal Bays Program is seeking a qualified applicant for an environmental science internship. The selected candidate will predominantly be assisting the science department with wetland assessments, wildlife surveys, invasive plant removal, water quality monitoring, citizen science programs, and data entry and analysis. The position will run for 28 weeks at 40 hours a week from March to September. Flexible state and end dates. Pay: $19/hour.

The Maryland Coastal Bays Program, a 501(c)3 non-profit National Estuary Program is currently seeking creative, motivated applicants for a paid seasonal educator position focused on creating meaningful watershed experiences for teachers, students, residents, & seasonal visitors. MCBP provides both outdoor & classroom educational programs, as well as field-oriented opportunities for community outreach & service learning. This 7-month, 32-hour week, position will run April 1- Oct. 31 in Berlin, MD
