YMCA Camp Campbell is looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our residential and recreation focused team as Youth Program Specialists. This position is designed for individuals who are interested in exploring the field of Youth Development and who are excited by dynamic and evolving job duties. This position provides rustic onsite housing and is seasonal from June-August with of summer work available.

YMCA Camp Campbell runs a four day, three night outdoor science school program for 5th and 6th grade students from all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Naturalists take groups of 20-25 students on a weekly adventure and exploration of the habitat many of them never knew was so close to their own backyards.

This is a full-time, non-exempt residential position that works with YMCA Camp Campbell’s Outdoor Science School program to provide hands-on experiences to students in an outdoor education setting. Resident Education Leaders will experience various aspects of a residential outdoor education program throughout the school year, with a focus on strengthening their experience in teaching and facilitating groups in an outdoor setting.
