Job

The University of Maine 4-H Center at Bryant Pond partners with Telstar High School in Bethel, Maine to provide an experiential learning program for Telstar’s 9th grade. This position is a multi-faceted experiential and traditional teaching role designed to work with a small team of Telstar teachers to create integrated curriculum, deliver lessons, coordinate and lead service learning initiatives, project-based learning and outdoor opportunities for Telstar’s students.

The Program Coordinator is a leadership position that supports year-round programming at the Center with specific emphasis on summer camp leadership. Seasonally, the Coordinator will act as an assistant, supporting the work of the Lakeside Classroom Director and Summer Camp Director. Operations and program management are performed in a team setting with duties including: staff hiring, training and supervision, program development and delivery, budgeting and scheduling.
