City Parks Foundation's innovative Green Girls Empowered by ING program inspires early adolescent girls to excel as environmental scientists and stewards of New York City’s precious natural resources. The award-winning STEM experiential learning curriculum is available free of charge to educators nationwide.

This orientation session will provide an overview of the award-winning CityParks Green Girls Empowered by ING curriculum introducing the lessons’ format, resources available, and how each lesson plan integrates STEM, experiential learning, and youth development concepts.

The Learning Gardens High School Training Program is STEM-based and trains 11th and 12th-grade students in the areas of urban agriculture, food justice, and peer instruction. The Coordinator will oversee and implement a weekly after school training program (spring) across all 4 Learning Garden sites in NY.
