This is a full time seasonal position. Marine Science Camp Counselors will work full time with campers aged 8-18 in a beautiful coastal ecosystem. Counselors plan and execute free time and evening activities for campers, co-teach educational programming, assist with daily program tasks, and act as a resource for campers during their stay.

Gain hands-on experience at a marine science field station while learning valuable technical and interpersonal skills. University & Research (U&R) Interns are immersed in the daily operations of the Chincoteague Bay Field Station (Wallops Island, Virginia) conduct research, and develop leadership skills as they support college students as resident advisors. The Coastal Education and Leadership Program (CELP) Assistant is a paid summer college internship. The CELP Assistant will gain valuable supervisory experience leading our high school internship program, have opportunities to teach a variety of age groups in the classroom and the field, become familiar with lab equipment and maintenance, and have the opportunity to network with CBFS partners, including USFWS, NPS, and more!
