Keep Austin Beautiful seeks an Education Programs Manager to manage its award-winning environmental in-school, after-school, and resource education programs. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the environment and excellent teaching, supervisory, curriculum development, communications, and project management skills.
Responsibilities include coordinating logistics and partnerships which enable Keep Austin Beautiful to engage citizens in service throughout the city. The Community Programs Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with volunteers and key organizational partners, cultivate those relationships to engage volunteers in ongoing service, coordinate project logistics, and lead projects.
Keep Austin Beautiful seeks a part-time, temporary Green Teens Educator for our grant-funded after-school programming. The primary objectives are to model, foster, and encourage environmental stewardship through hands-on activities and service learning projects. The ideal candidate will be able to foster a positive learning atmosphere that promotes a respect for the natural environment while serving as a mentor and positive role model to students.
Keep Austin Beautiful seeks a full-time Environmental Educator for our in-school and afterschool programming. The Educator will work with schools and after-school programs to teach youth about recycling, composting, resource management, ecology, water conservation, horticulture and more. The primary objective is to promote environmental stewardship through hands-on activities and service learning projects.
