Collaborate with staff at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center to deliver both youth and adult environmental education and interpretive programs through outreach and special events. Work with local teachers from Ashland, Washburn and Bayfield to bring classes into the outdoors. Lead teacher workshops on the refuge and visitor center grounds. Elevat the visitor experience by providing educational opportunities about the Great Lakes, wildlife, outdoor recreation pursuits and cultural resources.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is now accepting applications for the 2020 Directorate Resource Assistant Fellows Program (DFP). This year, FWS is collaborating with multiple conservation partner organizations to recruit and administer over 100 fellowship opportunities for the DFP. The DFP is an 11-week paid fellowship that enables college students (rising senior, senior or graduate) to work on projects that support FWS conservation priorities.
