The Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is recruiting for an outreach and visitor contact seasonal volunteer for this winter January – April (with some flexibility in dates). Duties include staffing the front desk, opening and closing the visitor center, creating weekly environmental education kits for the public, assisting with environmental education programs, and other outreach efforts.

This program has occurred every summer in Kodiak, Alaska for over twenty years. This internship assist in leading field trips, lessons, games, hikes, and art to provide an adventurous and creative week of hands-on learning for campers in this non-residential day camp. May 4th - August 21st (some flexibility on end date) 40 hours a week.
