Job Summary Under the supervision and direction of the Manager of Volunteer Resources, responsible for the implementation and maintenance of efficient and practical programs for the coordination of Cook County Forest Preserve volunteers. Supports programs such as: ecological restoration, outreach and engagement, litter pickup and ecological monitoring which often take place during evenings and weekends. Provides backup and support to Volunteer Coordinators and other Department staff.

Under general supervision by the Facilities/Fleet Department supervisory personnel, performs a variety of specialized tasks as assigned. Assists in all stages of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) work order analysis, reports, and mobile integration. Responsible for researching, writing, and investigating greening/recycling initiatives to promote environmental sustainability, establish a green doctrine, and other special projects.
