During the school year, we provide single day and residential overnight science education as well as character development on our challenge course for students
primarily in grades 5-8. We aim to support SEL in every student and staff member.

Westminster Woods' mission is to foster the development of character, community and science literacy through experiential outdoor education. Our campus is nestled into a redwood canyon in Occidental, California, and is the perfect setting to facilitate meaningful exploration and transformative experiences. The School Programs staff consists of individuals who are committed to experiential learning in an outdoor classroom. Many of our educators hold advanced degrees and have worked within EE for multiple years. The Logistics Coordinator is an integral part of the School Programs department as well as the larger administrative team of Westminster Woods and holds our clients’ needs throughout the registration and planning process through to the close of their program.
Westminster Woods Camp and Conference Center is located on 200 acres of redwood forest in the coastal hills of Western Sonoma County, California.
