The BHI Conservancy is offering multiple positions in our Summer Internship Program. Positions include Conservation, Education, Sea Turtle Protection, Communications, and Retail Interns. Interns will spend 3 months living and working in the unique setting of Bald Head Island, a sustainably developed island with a community dedicated to living in harmony with nature. Our summer internship program is open to rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates of an accredited college or university.

The BHI Conservancy is seeking an enthusiastic and creative person with a passion for the environment and an eagerness to help grow our nonprofit. From May-August 2018, 16 college-aged interns will contribute to our mission of conservation, education and preservation of barrier islands. The Program Operations Coordinator will organize the various logistical components of the summer intern program, providing information, support and discipline required to create a hospitable work environment.
