Webinar Series The Assessing Carbon Removal webinar series will bring together experts to examine particular carbon removal technologies. Institute staff and guest speakers will explain and contextualize what we know about carbon removal options, as well as the research necessary to thoroughly assess the technical, legal, and social considerations of carbon removal technologies as a potential element of a climate response portfolio.

The Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy (ICRLP) at American University (AU) invites applications for full-time, postdoctoral researchers to work on a new project aimed at the better integration of carbon removal approaches into two integrated assessment models (IAMs). The first appointment is a two-year position and will commence January 2, 2020 and run through January 2022. The second appointment is a one-year position (extendable to two years depending on the securing of additional funding) and will commence January 2, 2020 and run at least through January 2021.
