University of New Hampshire

We seek candidates whose strong quantitative and spatial analytical skills enable holistic assessment of the benefits and trade-offs of different agroecological management systems, using a range of sustainability indicators. We particularly seek those whose research combines spatially distributed, farm-based field experimentation with large-scale data synthesis to address the production and socio-ecological outcomes of agricultural intensification and diversification strategies at the regional, national, and/or global scale. The ideal candidate will work in close collaboration with College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) faculty and the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station to expand the inference domain of our University-based agriculture and food systems work via distributed farm- and community-based research methods.
