The duties include developing and teaching programs emphasized on high-quality STEM content and experiences for: school groups, scouts, summer, and public programs.
The Environmental Education Instructor position is designed to build a foundation to the professional fields of environmental education and interpretation. The duties include teaching programs for: school groups, scouts, summer day camps, and public programs. Program topics may include voyageurs, lake or fish ecology, prairies, food chain, nature restoration, animal adaptations, geology, outdoor skills and earth sciences.
The Environmental Communications Specialist primary duties include implementing strategies for communication regarding environmental and natural resource management topics related to the District’s mission and strategic plan priorities. Responsible for related marketing tasks, media relations, public speaking, graphic design, website content, presentations, print publications, and other collateral materials.
