Join the Bureau of Land Management staff at California Trail Interpretive Center, eight miles west of Elko, Nevada, for a nine-month position conducting research and providing resources to teachers. The intern will assist staff and teachers in preparing a pilot of new curriculum programs, delivering education programs to schools, and participating in program evaluation. The Intern will develop distance learning lesson plans and short videos and build relationships with local school audiences.
Administration of education programs including school field studies, school residential field studies, and Science Exploration Camps in Spring, Summer and Fall. Oversight of community connection to nature. Located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, six miles from Reno, Nevada and 17 miles from Lake Tahoe.
