The Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE) housed in the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is hiring a full time Green & Healthy Schools Program Outreach Specialist. This one-year appointment will provide statewide leadership to advance Green & Healthy Schools (GHS) Wisconsin and energy education through the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP).
This position primarily works with the WCEE Director and program staff to provide strong leadership for statewide environmental education in the Wisconsin pK-12 school community. The responsibilities of this position include program management, communications, outreach, and evaluation.
This outreach specialist position will work within the WCEE’s LEAF program developing innovative programs and providing support to meet the sustainable forestry education needs and interests of diverse K-12 audiences.
This Graduate Assistantship with the Wisconsin K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP) is a unique opportunity for those interested in gaining experience with curriculum development, environmental education resources, and teacher professional development while pursuing a Masters in Environmental Education and Interpretation from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The assistantship is a two-year commitment. The next graduate assistantship will begin in September of 2016.
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Natural Resources (CNR) and the University of Wisconsin Extension (UWEX), Division of Cooperative Extension are seeking a joint full time (12-month) tenure track position. The position will serve as the Director (50% time) of the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education (WCEE), have a 25% teaching appointment in the Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Management Discipline responsible for teaching courses relevant to the individual’s area
The WCEE Outreach Program Manager has direct oversight of WCEE outreach program implementation and management. The Outreach Program Manager reports to and works closely with the WCEE Director to align programs with and integrate program staff to meet the vision and mission of the WCEE. The Outreach Program Manager is the day-to-day manager of the WCEE outreach programs.
