This is a two-year fellowship supported by Poverty Solutions and the Youth Policy Lab at the University of Michigan. The position will be based in Detroit and will report directly to the City's Director of Youth Employment for day-to-day activities. The Fellow will also functionally report to the Assistant Director for the Detroit Partnership on Economic Mobility (Poverty Solutions), and be supported by staff at the Youth Policy Lab and Poverty Solutions, to coordinate their work with a range of other Detroit-based projects. This position will be primarily based in Detroit, Michigan, and will require occasional travel to UM's campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Dow Innovation Teacher Fellowship (DITF) is a program out of the University of Michigan's Center for Education Design, Evaluation, and Research (CEDER). DITF supports teachers in the Great Lakes Bay Region designing and implementing place-based, sustainability-focused learning units. The Program Coordinator works directly with CEDER’s Managing Director and other CEDER staff and students to coordinate and assist in managing all activities related to the DITF program.
