The Course Advisor provides an essential role within the Student Services Department to assist customers with course selection, convert inquiries to enrollments, and prepare all incoming students for their Outward Bound experience.
The kitchen positions at the Homeplace basecamp offer opportunities for culinary adventures paired with summer at the lake. Staff are responsible for daily food-related planning and preparation, supply management, and kitchen cleanliness. The kitchen is the heart of the basecamp and strives to support a positive and collaborative environment for this Outward Bound site.
The internship is an on-the-job training program for individuals aiming to become field instructors facilitating expeditions for VOBS. Depending on skill level, experience, scheduling, and availability, some interns will be promoted to instructor the same season. Most will complete the 9-week internship and will seek to be re-hired as a field instructor the following season.
