The Education Director is the primary leader of Colorado Canyons Association’s (CCA) education programs for students and adults on the land and rivers within Western Colorado’s three National Conservation Areas. The Director is responsible for overseeing the administration and implementation of all education programs, supervising education staff/interns, and developing curriculum. Other key duties include community outreach and grant writing to sustain and expand education programs.
The Associate works at the front desk of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Grand Junction Field Office (GJFO) under the direction of CCA’s Program Coordinator in coordination with BLM staff. The Associate will be responsible for CCA bookstore duties and will assist with National Conservation Area (NCA) related duties conducted from the GJFO. The Associate may also perform appropriate office tasks for other BLM employees as requested.
