Under general supervision, the Interpretive Naturalist develops, plans, and conducts programs on the natural, historical, and scientific features of Clermont County. Assists in staffing the museum at Chilo Lock 34 Park and creates a sense of welcome through hospitality and customer service. As an experienced interpreter, this person will be charged with developing, managing, and coordinating summer camps, senior citizen outreach programs, and other projects as assigned.
Under general supervision, will be part of a team that provides interpretive assistance and public programming. This will include support of the naturalist staff in performing a wide range of duties related to nature-based programming for the general public, schools, and community groups. Additionally, will assist with day-to-day staffing and upkeep of the Chilo Lock 34 Visitor Center and River History Museum. The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
